  • Awesome experience and a phenomenal teacher. I have done CPR training a few times and have never had such an amazing experience. I would recommend this training to everyone.

The best First Aid course I've ever taken. Instructors are awesome and paramedics. This means that they can always provide real life experiences and can answer every "what if" because they've done it! It's a huge asset to the course. A great experience that I feel actually prepared me for real life emergencies. Our whole family felt this way.

Learning first aid and cpr from Heaven Can Wait was the best thing we could do when we welcomed our daughter into the world. The instructor made it very easy for us to understand and remember in case of emergency. We are now confident that in an emergency situation we could extend a life.

Hi David. Just wanted to let you know that I actually had to use the Heimlich maneuver yesterday on my 15 month old son and it worked (thank god)! He was full on choking on a cheeto, and I'm grateful I was able to apply what you have been hammering into my head thee past three years. My son and I both thank you!

  • I hosted a Heaven Can Wait life-saving CPR choking skills class. As a parent of one year old twins I thought it would be advantageous to take this class as early in their lives as possible. The group thoroughly enjoyed the session and the paramedic instructor was phenomenal.

One week after completing this course my husband and I were having dinner, while our twins were sitting in their extra saucers eating crackers. Suddenly my son Cameron began to choke on his food and my husband turned to me and said what do we do? I quickly pulled Cameron out of the baby seat and I straddled him over my forearm, face down, using my hand to stabilize his head. Then I thrust three firm blows with the heel of my hand and the cracker popped out of his mouth. I have never been so relieved in my life.

When I informed my group that I saved Cameron's life they were shocked that I was able to implement the tactics so quickly. I never thought I would be put in this life threatening situation, but I was so relieved that I was prepared for it.

Running Heaven Can Wait's CPR and Childcare First-Aid Course in our home was the best option for my friends and family. It allowed myself and other new moms to breastfeed and have a sitter close by. Our Paramedic instructor made the session fun and set the pace and tone for our group, allowing people to take breaks, ask questions and review and practice without feeling like they were holding up a large group. I would highly recommend the in-house session for new parents and families.
